We are now offering an intensive, single day guitar electronics course. This day mixes theory and practical elements and covers some more advanced circuits as well as all the basics.

After completing this course you should be able to wire any guitar and understand how and why they work.

If you'd like to learn more about guitar electrics in general or understand some options for getting different tones from your electric guitar then this course is for you. And at just £120 it's also the perfect gift for the guitar enthusiast.

This course will give you a comprehensive introduction to guitar wiring, including how different components work and how they work together.  It will explain the theory behind how pickups are constructed and function and why humbucking pickups 'buck' hum as well as hands on experience of wiring: 

pickup, volume and tone controls
capacitors and changing tone control characteristics
Gibson and Fender style selector switches
pickup phase reversal
series/parallel switches
coil cutting humbuckers  

Taking place at our new bespoke workshop facility in Park Royal on the first and third Wednesdays of every month. The day will start at 10am and finish at approximately 4.30pm.

We will have a break for lunch. Feel free to bring your own food or there is a cafe close by. There is also a local Asda just 5 mins walk from the workshop. Tea and coffee provided.

Maximum number of students will be 4.
